Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (IPM) was founded in 1959 by a small group of professionals with the objective of developing and promoting the profession of personnel management. The Institute was subsequently incorporated by an Act of Parliament in 1976, and its name was amended by Act No. 31 of 2018 as the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). With a history of almost 60 years now, CIPM is a professional body and is affiliated to the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management and World Federation of People Management Associations.

Now a days many countries and most powerful companies are lacking in this knowledge though they having most advance technologies and high end marketing strategies. Sri Lanka, the Nation's leading institute in HRM. IPM was awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate covering all its operations including branch operations in Galle, Kurunegala and Kandy. The only government institute for HRM Had a wonderful time at lectures eventhough I was weekend batch. The lecturers are supportive and the staff is very much-loved. Cool space to have your degree in HRM. From the beginners to graduates, they're always encouraging for a better professional scheme. It's a institute which is providing foundation caurses to MSCs in the feild of Human Resource Management. There are air-conditioned lecture halls, huge library, and also good sanitary facilities. There is a well managing car park with security. And also the supportive and friendly lecturers help buildup careers in HR feild. ~ Hasitha C
As this is my very first college experience, I am extremely satisfied with my journey at CIPM. I truly believe I have chosen the right place to study Human Resource Management. The college provides a well-organized and supportive learning environment, and the facilities are excellent. One of the best aspects of CIPM is its talented and experienced lecturers. They are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and friendly, which creates a great learning atmosphere. However, while some lecturers have extensive experience, they sometimes face challenges in effectively delivering the content. Overall, I am very happy with my experience at CIPM, and I believe it is the best place for HRM education. ~ Eshani P
